Tangled, mangled montage
shattered glass, blood
seeping cracks, bones
screaming terror

Images of pain
too great to bear
scattered like the sands
amid the storm.

    Your words paint a horrific image – but the ‘storm and sand’ put these images in a place where one can step back and breathe a moment – nicely done.
